What's in This Blog

For the most part all of the entries in this blog were written by Gram. Gram had been keeping notes and stories for her grandchildren for years but never got them in order. When whe was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and was pretty much restricted to her recliner she had planned to write ... but the chemo did a number on her eye sight so she never got to write much. We agreed that I could take her notes and publish them so that they would be archived for her grandkids. Gram was pretty much born to be a grandmother. She loved everything about her grandkids and her world revolved around them. She spent hours and hours thinking up new ways to reach them and to create magic in their worlds. Sean (born in 1994) was the first of her grandchildren then she waited 10 years for the next grandchild. But when the next one arrived there was triple the blessings ... triplets Zander, Kaden and Addison were born in 2004. The blog includes stories and commentary about each of the grandchildren. There are activities, poems, recipes, creative stories and some unfinished stories. In some cases she had only listed a few notes or title ... but I captured all I could find in her journals. I may add to this blog as I remember other things that she did but never wrote about ... only time will tell. My goal as I write is to keep the magic created by my Mom (Gram) alive for generations to come. She was and will forever remain The Magic Grandmother!
