Kindermusik

His tan little face had the expression of being very proud of himself. He as not smiling but the flow in those dark brown eyes said everything. He looked so cute in his little khaki & navy short overalls & navy shirt. His little brown legs came down into matching socks & navy shoes. Mommy had tried to comb his hair. By now, it was kinda mess up but looked just fine. He bowed slowly from the waist at the end of each song. None of the other children bowed or curtsied, only Sean, as he acknowledged the audience of parents & grandparents clapping their approval after each song.

Sean would be three years old in two more days and this was his very first recital. He had been going to music class all year and this was the ‘Kindermusik Demonstration Recital’.

Mommy & Daddy were there. Bo & Gram were there. MeMaw was there and so was Mom’s friend Melissa. Daddy made video as the class sang ‘Three Blue Pigeons’, ‘Ram Sam Sam’, “Brown Bear, Brown Bear’, ‘Eensy Weensy Spider’, ‘Hokey Pokey’ & ‘Little Mister Robin’.

At the end of the program, Sean ran from the stage & grabbed Daddy’s long tall log – looked way up at Daddy and said with all the pride of a great performer ‘I dood it!”

The day was just beginning for this afternoon would be Sean’s third birthday party!
