Items Needed:
- Assorted hats (fireman, police, doctor, etc.)
- 3 striped railroad engineer hats
- Various musical instruments (horns, cymbals, tambourines, etc.)
- Toy train whistle – if you can find one
- Plastic or cardboard colored boxes, tied together to make a pretend train (blue, yellow, green and red). Be sure red box is tied on last to make it the caboose. Will also need small stuffed animals and toys as passengers on the train.
- (Optional) A small toy train with an engine, flat car, passenger car and caboose
- Book – ‘The Little Engine That Could’
- Snack – fruit or veg – this is not necessary if it is not snack time
